🎙️ BBC Radio London Debut – We kicked off April with a live interview on BBC Radio London, talking all things Hibernation Film Festival — an online short film competition designed to spark creativity and connection during lockdown. It was a first for James (and his heartbeat), but a brilliant opportunity to celebrate creativity in uncertain times.
🎞️ Online Film Festival Live Stream – To wrap the festival, we ran a live-streamed awards ceremony announcing the shortlisted entries and winners, highlighting how video can bring people together even when we're apart. (P.S. You can still catch the replay.)
🎨 Cybersecurity Animation for ToolBook – We delivered two distinct animated explainer videos for ToolBook’s Underwriting and Cyber & Technology teams. One video helped SMEs understand the risk of cyberattacks, while the other explained how ransomware support works, complete with custom visual styles and VO-driven storytelling.
❤️ Campaign Video for Muscular Dystrophy UK – We continued our ongoing video support for MDUK, creating engaging virtual event content for their Town and Gown 10K fundraiser. Think interactive livestreams, warm-up videos, interviews, and audience challenges — all built to help bridge a £2.8 million fundraising gap caused by cancelled in-person events.
🏡 Live-Action Filming for Harvey Jones – With safety measures in place, our nimble crew of three filmed at a Harvey Jones showroom in North London, capturing beautiful footage while adapting our entire post-production workflow to remote collaboration tools like Vimeo Review and video call edit sessions.
🧦 Sock Puppets & Green Screen Goodness – We're also in post on a quirky green screen puppet project, complete with hand-drawn animation and drone filming for socially distant real estate visuals. (Yep, it’s as fun as it sounds.)
🎥 Director-Led Home Productions – From tabletop domino tricks to personal lockdown stories, our BearJam directors have been getting creative in isolation. Special shout-outs to Dean Russell for his cinematic setups and Scott Ross Thor from Diamond Bullet for his heartwarming family film.
