Okay… so it’s been a while. And yes, we know we always say “Do More Video.” But even we sometimes get so busy making content for everyone else that we forget to turn the camera back on ourselves.
So this three-month bumper vlog edition is here to make up for it. From technical setups and super-fast turnarounds to dogs, bees, bobsleighs and bacon naans — here’s what we’ve been up to.
🎬 Watch the vlog for all the behind-the-scenes magic, last-minute pivots, and creative problem-solving that went into each project.
We kicked off with a beautiful bit of creative video production for April Six and their client Iris Elements. The concept? Project video content onto the presenter and the set around them, blending live-action, motion design, and ambient lighting in a totally fresh way.
Our crew sourced and prepped all the projected footage, ran a full pre-light/test day to balance projector and set lighting, and pulled off a seamless shoot. The edit (thanks, Louie) featured some slick glitch effects and brand-matched flourishes, with direction from roster director George Horn.
A bold, technical, design-led video, all about simplifying small business accounting. Nailed it.
We reunited with Red Consultancy and McDonald’s for a quick-fire social video campaign starring Jamie Redknapp and Alex Scott, hosted by Tekkerz Kid. The vibe? Fast, fun, high-energy.
This shoot involved:
A last-minute location change due to rain
Multiple cameras for maximum coverage
A tight shooting window with celebrity talent
And less than 72 hours to deliver all cutdowns, ratios, platforms, and graphics
With roster director John Shaikh leading, two editors cutting in tandem, and motion designers on-call, we pulled off a high-production value campaign at serious speed.
Creative agency Neverland asked us to produce a set of vox pop-style social videos for Kelly’s Ice Cream — but we needed Cornwall… and Cornwall is far.
So we scouted Joss Bay in Kent, found the perfect farm, cast contributors, sourced a classic ice cream van and wardrobe, and shot everything to look and feel authentically Cornish.
The twist? The hero of the film was a bee — central to the brand’s new “Save Cornwall’s Little Hero” message. What looked like a relaxed beach interview was actually a brilliantly planned piece of brand storytelling and natural performance direction.
This might be the most emotionally resonant film we’ve produced in a while. For UK Anti-Doping, we told the true story of bobsledder John Jackson, who was cheated out of a medal at the Sochi 2014 Olympics — only to be awarded it years later after doping violations were uncovered.
Directed (confusingly but poetically) by John Shaikh, the piece was shaped entirely through remote interview audio, archive footage, stills, and light animation work to bring key moments to life. We recorded a two-hour VO interview remotely, crafted a narrative in the edit, and delivered a three-minute film that feels both personal and powerful.
🎯 Mischief PR – Sizzle content for their Attention Barometer campaign
🍳 Dishoom Meal Kits – Beautifully shot cookery how-to videos (yes, the bacon naan is as good as it sounds)
🌱 Jordans Cereal – Down-to-earth gardening how-to content hosted by the brilliant Katie Rushworth
There’s more McDonald’s work in the pipeline, plus a slate of new animations and a few projects we really can’t wait to share. Oh — and some big personal news: we're expecting baby number two very soon 🎉
So who knows when the next vlog will drop — but rest assured we’ll have plenty to talk about when it does.
Whether you’re launching a campaign, rolling out a rebrand, or building evergreen content with emotional weight, we’d love to help you Do More Video.
