Do you think there's too many, too many buttons undone, or is it it's a bit pale?
I like it when I can see a little chest hair.
Looks good? Right, ready?
Hello and welcome back to the den for our regular update on all the Bear Jam shenanigans from the merry month of May.
May the force be with you.
First up, very exciting news, hot off the press, we're launching a brand new podcast series.
Holy, you got a podcast too?
It's called Creative Minds and it comes from my want to sit down with other creatives, unpick their brains a little bit, get into their thinking process and really tap in into their experience. Quite selfishly so we can improve our own creative process.
You have a safe full of secrets. I need to know what's in that safe.
And of course share all that knowledge with you, my new audience. Our first guest was the brilliant Stu Wilson who had some brilliant insights. Here's a little preview.
To be able to do stuff that other people can't do and to make things that have never been made before, it's a total privilege. Opening the eye of an idea is like opening up a portal. The idea of diversity of thought brings the best work.
The series will launch June 14, date for the diary, and we've already got two more guests, fabulous guests lined up. So please keep your eyes open and we will share more updates.
In other news, we have been busy developing all sorts of creative videos for our clients, CH&CO, who have got a big event next month and need lots of video content. Most recently we've been over in Redding filming their finance team where we wanted to dispel the myth that finance people can be dull. These guys were anything but. They are rebels with a cause and a calculator, and we had a lot of fun filming them.
So inspired by the finance team, we thought we'd dig out a few numbers and stats for ourself. Here's one for you. Did you know a whopping 91% of businesses use video as a marketing tool? Which is obviously music to our ears here at Bear Jam, but of the 9% that don't, the biggest reason is because they simply don't have time. I get it. Creating content that achieves your business goals in-house is not easy, but that's where we come in. So if you are looking to dip your toe in some video content, look no further. Call me.
Sure, it's a little creepy and a shameless plug, but we love them.
Earlier this month, myself and the Bear Jam team headed down to the media production show for some team building, to get our eyes on some groundbreaking technology and quite frankly, geek out over new industry trends and kit. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot, so we decided to write all about it. Everybody in the team has written a paragraph about what they learnt, and we put it in a blog for you guys, so go and check it out on the website and enjoy the read.
It's just a few words, it won't take long.
In other news, we've also got a new starter. Say hi, Steph. Steph joins us as a creative. She has already hit the ground running and got her teeth into some great projects, which hopefully will be coming to fruition next month, and we will be sharing those with you. Projects we're currently working on include a really interesting animation for Osprey, where we're going to break down the journey of electricity from source to car. Daniel's working on the animation. It's got some awesome parallax effects and a really interesting animation build where the city comes to life.
We've also been out and about on a number of recces. Got a really exciting shoot with an FPV drone, first person view... Sometimes get it the wrong way around... Flying around a vineyard. We're definitely going to make sure that we don't drink and fly because there's going to be some high risk shots in there. More on that, hopefully in the next vlog, maybe the one after.
I think that's it from me. If you don't already, please do follow us on our socials, Instagram, LinkedIn. We're always sharing great stuff. Subscribe to the blog and keep your eye out for the Creative Mind Podcast and accompanying video coming soon. See you next month. That's a wrap.
In addition to our podcast launch, we are thrilled to showcase our recent projects for our valued clients. Our commitment to delivering exceptional video content remains unwavering, and these projects exemplify the dedication and creativity that define BearJam. Each project is a testament to our team's ability to bring our clients' visions to life, capturing the essence of their brands and stories.
Furthermore, we are excited to introduce a new member to our ever-growing team. As BearJam expands its horizons, we are continually seeking talented individuals who share our passion for video production and storytelling. Our new team member brings a fresh perspective and expertise that will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing success.
In our quest to stay at the forefront of industry trends and technology, BearJam recently attended the Media Production Show. This event provided us with valuable insights into the latest developments and innovations in the world of media production. By keeping a keen eye on emerging trends and technologies, we ensure that our clients receive the highest quality and most up-to-date services.
One compelling statistic that underscores the importance of video in today's digital landscape is that 91% of businesses utilize video as a marketing tool. This figure reaffirms the power and effectiveness of video in conveying messages, connecting with audiences, and driving engagement. At BearJam, we understand the significance of this medium, and our work reflects our dedication to harnessing its potential for our clients' benefit.
As we embark on this new chapter with the "Creative Minds" podcast series, showcase our recent projects, welcome a new team member, and remain vigilant in staying abreast of industry trends, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. BearJam Video Production Company remains committed to pushing boundaries, fostering creativity, and delivering outstanding video content. We look forward to sharing our journey with you and continuing to be a trusted partner in bringing stories to life through the art of video production.
