BearJam Vlog – October & November Highlights: Real Families, Green Screens, Property Shoots & World AIDS Day Content

It’s been a little while (apologies for the delay!), but we’re back with an update on what BearJam has been working on across October and November. These two months were packed with everything from real-kid castings and green screen studio shoots to drone footage, 3D set builds, and branded social content for World AIDS Day.

McDonald’s “Thank You Parents” – Unscripted Moments with Real Families

First up: a heartfelt (and often hilarious) piece of branded content for McDonald’s, developed with our friends at Ready10.

To support McDonald's "Thank You Parents" campaign, we cast a real-life family and sat down with the kids to capture their unscripted thoughts on lockdown — and their love for milkshakes and toys. The responses were charming, unexpected, and totally authentic. When it comes to filming with kids, you never quite know what you’re going to get... but that’s half the magic.

Builder.ai – Green Screen Meets 3D Set Build

One of our most challenging quick-turnaround video projects this autumn came in the form of a last-minute call on a Saturday: Could we shoot a green screen video with a full crew by Wednesday?

Of course we could.

Working with Builder.ai, we shot the video in a green screen studio, then jumped straight into post-production, building a custom 3D environment for the subject to walk through, complete with animated interactions. It was an intense few days, but we delivered a slick, professional piece that brought the brand story to life in a highly visual way.

Property Marketing Content – Drones, Interiors & Local Area B-Roll

October and November also saw us out and about capturing content for our property sector clients. We filmed interiors of commercial buildings, drone footage over key locations in London and Wales, and a variety of local area footage for property marketing videos.

With the announcement of a second lockdown looming, we fast-tracked one shoot to beat the restrictions and still capture the buzz and bustle of a local high street. We filmed from early morning into the evening to capture both daytime and nightlife vibes, resulting in a rich, dynamic area overview film with plenty of energy and visual variation.

Mischief PR – New Brand, New Sizzle Reel

We partnered with Mischief PR on a fast-cut sizzle reel to support their recent rebrand launch. This was a classic BearJam production — lively, energetic, and built to capture the spirit of the agency while showcasing their new look and feel. It’s always a blast working with their team, and this one was no exception.

World AIDS Day – Social Content for Elton John AIDS Foundation

In collaboration with BCW, we worked on a project close to our hearts: World AIDS Day content for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

We filmed an interview with the foundation’s CEO, Anne Aslett, and created branded social assets to support their campaign and raise awareness. This kind of corporate social content is a growing area for us — helping purpose-driven organisations deliver meaningful messages with clarity and impact.

What’s Next?

December is already shaping up to be just as busy. We’re working on some fun new projects — including something festive — and can’t wait to share what’s coming in the next vlog (and yes, we’ll try not to be late with it!).
