BearJam Shortlisted for EVCOM Clarion Awards 2026: Winds of Change for Landsec
We're proud to announce that our documentary film Winds of Change, produced for Landsec, has been shortlisted at the EVCOM Clarion Awards 2026 in the Film: Celebratory category.
The Clarion Awards recognise purpose-driven creative work across film and live events, with this year's programme attracting its highest number of submissions in years. Winners will be announced on 8 July at the London Stock Exchange.
What is Winds of Change?
Winds of Change is a cinematic documentary film we produced for Landsec to celebrate the regeneration of Cardinal Place in Victoria, London. The film tells the story of how a transitional urban site became a vibrant, people-first public realm through investment in public art, community collaboration and thoughtful design.
Rather than a standard property walkthrough, we built the narrative around the people behind the transformation: the artists who created the Four Winds sculpture installation, schoolchildren who contributed to community workshops, local retailers, and Landsec's placemaking team. The result is a film that balances corporate storytelling with real human voice.
Why documentary film works for placemaking and property
Property and regeneration projects are often communicated through renders, data and planning language. Video changes that. It captures the human dimension of placemaking: how spaces feel, how communities respond, and why design decisions matter beyond the drawing board.
For the Cardinal Place project, documentary film gave Landsec a way to connect with stakeholders, partners and the public simultaneously. A hero film anchored events and presentations, while modular cutdowns extended reach across social media and digital channels.
This approach reflects a broader shift in how the property sector communicates. The most effective placemaking stories are not told through brochures. They are told through the voices of the people who use the spaces.
What the EVCOM Clarion Awards recognise
The EVCOM Clarion Awards are one of the UK's leading awards programmes for corporate film and live events that deliver measurable positive impact. The Film: Celebratory category is awarded to films that celebrate purpose-driven achievements, partnerships or milestones while reinforcing wider social or environmental impact.
Being shortlisted in this category reflects the strength of the creative approach and the collaborative partnership with Landsec. The judging criteria include authentic storytelling, emotional engagement, clear link to positive impact, and demonstrable results. These are principles that run through everything we produce.
How we approach corporate documentary film production
Every project we take on starts with the same question: what story are you actually trying to tell? For Landsec, the answer was not about bricks and mortar. It was about the collective effort behind a place that works for the people who use it.
We structured Winds of Change around four chapters: The Dreamers, The Collaborators, The Artists, The People. Each chapter gave a different contributor group their own space within the narrative, creating a film that felt co-owned by the community rather than imposed on it.
This kind of multi-voice documentary storytelling is something we specialise in. Whether the subject is urban regeneration, a corporate milestone, or an ESG initiative, the approach is the same: find the real story, cast the right voices, and produce something that earns attention rather than demands it.
