Nathan Leigh Horrocks

Nathan is inspired by cinematic experiences that transform how we think and he has been telling stories his whole life.  As a child he told tales to get out of trouble, as a teen he obsessively watched Alex Cox’s ‘Moviedrome’ film which became his escape from the mundane.  It was a glimpse into worlds very different from the rural ‘New-Age’ commune that he grew up in. Nathan is an independent writer, director and editor with a wealth of experience from large and complex shoots all around the world.

He directs commercials, content and promos for the best creative agencies and well-known brands including Kinder, Sony, Rachel’s Organic, BBC, Mothercare, BRITA, iTV, Peugeot, Galbani, Land Rover, Channel 4, E.ON Energy, Tampax, 3M, Fiat, DHS, Merck, Selfridges, DairyCo, Microsoft, Novo Nordisk, Jaguar and Red Bull.Nathan has been recognised for his creative work in the industry with the following awards: A Silver Medal for Film Craft at the PM Digital Awards in 2017, Two Clio Awards, an IPA Award and a Global Award in 2016 add to a successful 2015 including Gold at the Global Awards, Gold at the PM Awards and Silver at the PM Digital Awards for Film Craft.  His  short script iLOVE has been awarded by both the NYC PictureStart Film Festival and the LA HollyShorts Film Festival.
