Behind the Scenes in November 2025

We kicked off November the best way possible by celebrating John’s birthday with cake! James and Phoebe headed to King’s Cross to capture some shots of a workspace in sunlight for the client.

On Friday 7th, John, Trey, and Phoebe took over The Pineapple, a pub in Lambeth, for a full pub redesign as part of a client’s Christmas video. The shoot featured the CEO dressed as a bartender, pouring pints, while the rest of the team shared what they loved about Christmas.

The following week was one of the busiest in BearJam history:

• Trey flew to Detroit just 12 hours after Friday’s shoot.
  
  
• Catie followed, flying to Detroit on Saturday afternoon.
  
  
• Jake and James flew to Hong Kong on Sunday, making the team truly international.
  
  

Back in the UK, Phoebe produced her first-ever solo project for a law event. John and Phoebe also filmed customer interviews for a long-standing client. On Thursday morning, Phoebe and Tristan travelled to Milton Keynes to shoot at Red Bull. Meanwhile, James and his team navigated time differences and kept filming, and Catie flew to Chicago for the next project. 

Whilst the edit team were busy behind the scenes pulling together edits — a process involving bravery, sacrifice, and at least three emotional support snacks.

A quick flight change led James to fly directly to New York instead of London, and Catie stayed in the U.S., flying to New York. Together, they teamed up for a shoot in the city on Friday. Meanwhile, Trey and Jakob took a well-deserved break, while Rabia worked tirelessly behind the scenes with the editing team to ensure all deadlines were met.

The third week of November brought a bit of fresh air, with the team enjoying a brunch together outside the office.

In the last week of November, customer interviews spanned two days, with James, Phoebe, and John heading to a studio in Tooting.

On the editor side, I caught up with Rabia and Jakob to see what they’ve been up to:

Phoebe: Hey Guys!

Jacob & Rabia: Hey Phoebe!

Phoebe: How has November been for you?

Rabia: November has been busy and chaotic, with lots of projects and a crazy number of shoots.
Jacob: I agree with Rabia. November was jam-packed. No two days have been the same, and things changed every hour, but we’ve kept everything afloat with so many projects on the go.

Phoebe: What’s coming up in December? We’ve got a couple of weeks before a pause in the office. What could happen in the next three weeks?

Rabia: There’s a crazy amount of Christmas shoots. Clients will come out for the festive work, and we’ve got some fun company events too. I believe we have two Christmas parties, which will be exciting. I’m also hoping our building will host some events. It’ll be busy, but equally fun.

Phoebe: How about you, Jacob? How do you see December shaping up?

Jacob: I agree. While most industries wind down for Christmas, ours doesn’t really. There will be deadlines into the last week, but we can handle it.
