The Romans Called Strike a Pro
A few weeks ago, we had the incredible opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in football - Haaland, Gvardiol, and Gundogan - (iconic i know) on a bold and brilliant new piece of content. The twist? They were undercover, disguised as everyday fans, surprising young players in a way only elite athletes can.
Behind the scenes, BearJam was in full playmaker mode - producing and shaping the content in collaboration with the Kellogg’s and EFL teams. This wasn't just another shoot; it was part of Kellogg’s long-standing tradition of connecting with families and young fans through football. Their Kellogg’s Football Camps promotion has brought thousands of kids into the game over the years, and this latest activation brought that same joy to life with a clever, surprising twist.
Despite a high-profile cast and fast-paced schedule - just two shoot days, with only 45 minutes of time with the players on day two - we pulled it off. And not just pulled it off. We delivered.
It felt like scoring in the 94th minute - full-pressure, last-minute magic. Our production team worked at full tilt, keeping everything on track with careful planning, seamless coordination, and just the right amount of improv to respond in real time.
I was chatting with Jakob, one of our editors, about the project, and here’s what he said:
“There was loads to play with in the edit. The team did a really great job at capturing everything within such a short shoot window.”
When your editor says that, you know the groundwork was solid. Great coverage, great energy, and great foresight on set make the post process a joy - and the final product all the better for it.
These kinds of shoots remind us why we love what we do. High energy, fast-paced, big talent, and real emotional payoff. We’re proud to help brands like Kellogg’s craft stories that don’t just entertain - they surprise, delight, and connect with people of all ages.
Check it out below - this one’s got heart, humour, and a healthy dose of football magic. Would love to hear what you think!
