Book a Call

Behind the scenes with Phoebe. A Week in the Life of Me — Account Executive at BearJam

Let’s get the ball rolling… wait — we’re on set. Action.

Monday

A fantastic start to the week: meetings, meetings, and more meetings.
Each one packed with action points (and a few more action points about those action points).

After lunch, I tackled the to-do list — ticking off the urgent stuff and actually cracking on with the “can-wait” tasks.

Today’s focus? Marketing and new biz. Lining up comms plans, refining our next moves, and prepping for the three shoots I’m on this week.
Exciting? Absolutely. Slightly terrifying? Also yes.

Tuesday

Alarm at 5:40am. Out the door by 6:20.
Train. Another train. A 25-minute walk followed by Seven cups of coffee (minimum).

We’re filming at a football club - adding footage to the masterpiece we’ve been working on.
By 1pm, we wrap, and I’m back on the train home, diving straight into new business outreach and a few client follow-ups.

Trying to prove I can do it all - producer, marketing, new biz - and mostly surviving.
Cut to: me, asleep on the sofa before 9pm.

Wednesday

Alarm. Snooze. Sheets washed, dishwasher emptied, sausage sandwich inhaled.
Off to Euston - except, of course, TFL has other plans.

District Line down. Sprint to the Piccadilly. Change at Green Park. Onto the Victoria.
Sweating, panicking, moving like I’m Usain Bolt (if you saw me on the underground… I apologise).

Get to Euston …. only to be told I’ve missed the train (even though I’m early and it’s still on the platform). I plead. I explain. I might even tear up a little (okay, a lot). No luck.

Next train in 14 minutes. Deep breath. Crisis averted.

Arrive in Manchester, meet the team (who, thankfully, only just got there themselves thanks to more delays), and we’re off to film a Premier League player.
Keep it cool, Phoebe. Totally normal day.

Back in London by 8pm. Collapse into bed.

Thursday

Wake up one hour before my alarm. Naturally, I decide this is the perfect time to paint my nails.

Then back on the Piccadilly, off to Caledonian Road.
We’re on set again: setting up the studio, running the show, coffee in hand, adrenaline pumping.

Between takes, I crack open the laptop and start working through the mountain of emails from the last two days.
Somehow, by the end of the day, I’ve cleared my inbox and helped run the shoot managing to appear cool and collected while doing it.

Another day, another shoot.

Friday

Morning run with a friend — 8.5 miles, ticked off.
Then straight back to the desk (aka my kitchen table) for my 9am meeting.

Meetings, highlight of the week published, and a few final bits and pieces wrapped up.

And… I’m done for the week.
Proceed to sleep for 10.5 hours.

Fade out.
Just another week as an Account Exec at BearJam — part producer, part marketer, part chaos coordinator. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
