Success story
Victoria
The ask.
Landsec’s latest campaign for Victoria set out to reposition the area not just as a geographic destination, but as a thriving hub for modern business. With a major showcase event on the horizon and digital rollout planned, they needed a hero film that would shift perceptions and spark excitement among stakeholders, prospective tenants, and the wider business community.
The brief was clear: create something vibrant, inspiring, and human. A film that captured the transformation of Victoria and conveyed its energy, connectivity, and future-facing potential. BearJam were tasked with bringing this story to life.
The answer.
We proposed a live-action, presenter-led film that took viewers on a charismatic, fast-paced journey through the reimagined Victoria. It was essential that the piece connected emotionally, so we crafted a script that was warm, sharp, and grounded in real experience. Our presenter brought both charm and clarity, guiding viewers through each key location with genuine enthusiasm and a touch of wit.
Filming took place across Victoria’s most recognisable and revitalised spots, from the buzz of Nova Food Hall to the flexible, design-led workspaces at MYO. Each scene was carefully framed to reinforce the campaign’s core themes: connectivity, flexibility, and vibrancy. We incorporated subtle stats and insights naturally into the script - for example, highlighting Victoria Station’s 85 million annual passengers as the presenter stepped off a train.
To help orient the viewer and transition between scenes, we introduced a handcrafted illustrated map of the district. This playful, textured visual gave context and charm, acting as a bridge between real-world locations and adding another layer of storytelling to the piece.
Post-production tied everything together. From the voiceover recording to edit, sound mix, and final grade, BearJam handled it all in-house. The result was a confident, high-energy film that didn’t just showcase Victoria’s transformation, but embodied it. It premiered at the June launch event and now lives on as the flagship asset of Landsec’s campaign, inspiring a new wave of interest and investment in the area.
