Zoé Fayaud
Zoé is a French director, camera operator and editor based in East London. She was born in Thailand, and grew up across Cambodia, Mali and Tanzania.
She began her journey as a videographer, exploring the Latin and Arab music scene across London, quickly stepping up to directing music videos, travelling to Palestine and Cuba to shoot.
Her first documentary SUMUD explored the Palestinian hip-hop scene in the West Bank, and was selected at NIFF London, Stockholm City Film Festival and won Best Documentary at Istanbul Film Festival 2021.
Since then, she has built a solid foundation across a variety of commercials, music videos, documentaries, and short films; working internationally with clients such as ABC News, Good Morning Washington, Netflix, National Theatre, BBC Radio 1, Caviar TV, Orange Telecom, PFO Africa, London Fashion Week and Central Saint Martins.
She is passionate about telling stories with a social impact and creating stunning visuals to translate human emotions.
